Prayers for Transplant Warriors was born from a dream God placed on our hearts—to write a book that would encourage, comfort, and strengthen others walking the transplant journey. Through our own experiences with double lung transplantation, we witnessed God's faithfulness in every season and felt called to share that hope with others.
By God's grace, we both received double lung transplants at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, by the same transplant team, on the same calendar day—the 22nd. What many would call coincidence, we believe is God's divine hand writing a testimony only He could orchestrate.
