A laugh-out-loud, escapist summer holiday rom-com, perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Beth O’Leary and Sophie Kinsella.
Chloe needs a holiday. She’s invisible to her boss, overworked and burnt out. What she gets is a chaotic wellness retreat at a sun-drenched Ibizan villa, run by a man whose resemblance to Pedro Pascal and sublime cooking make up for seeming a bit out of his depth.
Ben has taken a sabbatical from his London restaurant, and is trying to turn his late uncle’s rundown, rustic villa into a mostly functioning retreat. He can wing the catering and count on the sunshine, but he hasn’t planned on Chloe: clumsy, brilliant, and so overworked and underappreciated it’s quietly heartbreaking.
As the week unfolds – complete with feral goats, beach raves, skinny-dipping and wedding-crashing – both of them begin to feel a glow that neither of them saw coming.
But real life is waiting for them both back in London. And real feelings are a lot harder to pack up than a suitcase.
Warm, fizzing with Kristen Bailey’s signature humour and full of genuine heart, Glow Job is the summer rom-com you’ll never want to end, but will devour in one sitting.
