Description
This isn’t a war story. It’s an Army story.
I wrote this book about me and the boys in Chosen Company going through a strange stretch of Army life during the COVID era. That’s the whole book.
It is told from the junior enlisted perspective, which means you get the parts that usually get cleaned up or left out: boredom, bureaucracy, field problems, dumb luck, miserable conditions, inside jokes, and the moments that only become funny once they are over.
I tried to make it understandable to everybody, whether you know anything about the Army or not.
If you served, you will recognize a lot of it. If you have not, this is a direct look at the side of military life most people never get to see.
I had a lot of fun writing it, and I hope you like it.
