Description
Lovingly put together, 'A Cat Alphabet' brings back into the public a collection of Louis Wain's most gentle and funniest prints in one complete book.
An artist famously known for his unique cat drawings, Louis Wain (1860-1939) combined whimsy, character, and charm in all his works. This book brings together 25 of his prints into the always funny and adorable 'A Cat Alphabet'. A rhyming book with a cat for each letter of the alphabet, it is a fabulous book both to read to kids and for the adult lovers of Louis Wain and cats. A true, vintage classic.
Oddly enough, there is no original letter 'I' in this book because one was not drawn. To both acknowledge this and maintain the rhyme of the book, a placeholder has been used.
I hope you enjoy this book, one that has been crafted with love and a great passion for the beautiful work of Louis Wain. The joy his art brings never fades.
