Description
Ever wonder what your blackjack or roulette dealer is thinking while gambling at their table? Eric Sherwood entered the gambling world after a failed marketing career and never looked back. His daily experiences as a casino dealer were too good and stunning not to write down as he began compiling his dealing adventures.
With casinos opening in nearly every state across America today, Sherwood takes you behind the table with the true, shocking, and hilarious accounts from his perspective. You’ll enjoy reading about his epic happenings with a collection of short stories while dealing blackjack, roulette, mini-baccarat, and carnival games such as three-card poker.
Creator of the popular Twitter account, The Annoyed Pit Boss ( @AnnoyedPitBoss) , formerly the Annoyed Casino Dealer, Sherwood expands his stunning tweets to long form and brings the reader to the table with him. He goes in depth about the comical characters, depressing degenerates, ridiculous betting systems, huge wins, and even quicker losses that he endured each shift while dealing cards for five years.
Dealt—Stories from My Life on the Felt takes you on a wild roller coaster ride, filled with the highs and lows of gambling mixed in with humor, high-stakes action and jaw-dropping, real-life moments that will leave you wanting more.
