Description
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
- A Chinese Proverb.
My intent in writing this book is to share with you my years of experience growing tropical fruit trees in a desert. It is my sincere hope that all creatures, big and small, benefit from the trees that you plant. I wish to contribute, in my little way, to make that happen.
In some religions and cultures, heaven is described as a lush green garden, with flowing rivers, producing delicious fruits. You might have experienced the pull of greenery and water in your own life here on earth. It is innate. I started growing fruit trees around 2009. What began as a casual activity quickly turned into an obsession. Over the years, with continuous experimentation, I have moved from growing local trees to what is considered “exotic” around where I live.
In this book, I wish to share my experience with you and answer that one question I get quite often about tropical/south Asian fruit trees...does that grow here?
