I managed to learn how to walk, run, swim, ski, perform gymnastics. I became an athlete almost at the same level as before my amputation within a year. I managed to train with the Paralympic team but decided not to pursue this opportunity further, due to my dream to become a civil engineer.

Since my amputation, I have been a motivational speaker for more than 10.000 students in schools, people with disabilities, I have been talking to individuals or families facing amputation, have participated in training individuals with disabilities to get back on their feet. I have been part of lectures for university students becoming physiotherapists or prosthetists, and have been participating in conferences for makers of prosthetics to walk around showcasing products.

I have managed to keep a positive and healthy lifestyle by focusing on my physical well-being, my health and my weight, as well as learned to accept, and live my life to the fullest with my prosthesis, by learning to master my mindset through meditation, positive psychology, and purposeful goal setting.

I personally believe that every person with or without a disability will gain respect among others, by respecting themselves, and by having the courage to follow their own dreams and aspirations, and not let other people's fears and worries stand in their way.
