Taken by the Alien Bodyguard: A Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance (Unexpected Alien Mates)

My orders are simple: keep her alive. The most dangerous creature in the universe wants Doctor Liliandra Cast dead. She’s the brilliant human scientist getting too close to unlocking the secrets of the Veldarians—shape-shifting monsters even Ezrok warriors struggle to kill. And she makes nothing simple.

She’s small enough that I could lift her with one hand, yet she has the nerve to argue with me, challenge me, and look at a warrior built for killing as if I’m the most fascinating discovery she’s ever made.

I like that look far too much.

The more time I spend by her side, the more I want that brilliant mind focused on me. I want to satisfy every shameless question she has about Ezrok anatomy—and show my curious little human exactly what my body can do to hers.

Especially once she discovers I can touch her without using my hands.

Somewhere along the way, protecting her stopped being an assignment.

Now anything that wants my scientist will have to survive me first.

Taken by the Alien Bodyguard is a spicy sci-fi romance featuring forced proximity, extreme size difference, a battle-hungry alien protector, a brilliant human scientist, alien anatomy lessons, very *ahem* creative uses of alien tech, action, humor, and a guaranteed HEA.
Unexpected Alien Mates is a series of standalone books, each with its own couple and its own happily ever after. Dragon-shifting princes. Alien warriors. Outlaws with nothing left to lose. All of them powerful, possessive, and completely undone by the human woman fate drops in their path. The books share a universe and span centuries, so reading them in order is a treat—but you can start with any one of them.
This book was first published as Warrior's Desire: Reylar of the Ezrok. This new 2026 edition features a revised and greatly expanded story.
