Description
Following years of research, Jacques More has assembled his discoveries and root research in Serious Mistranslations of the Bible to identify up to 52 bible passages as mistranslated. Ten years ago the Bible Society purchased copies of Jacques' research on the meaning of EKLEKTOS - the Greek word which translates as chosen and elect 23 times in the New Testament - Here this work is solidified and other words identified as needing changes. GREEK WORDS RE-DISCOVERED: EKLEKTOS meaning OF QUALITY not CHOSEN or ELECT Jesus said: “Many are called, few have mettle” – few are QUALITY (fit for it) Not “Many are called, few are chosen” Sufficient evidence is here to begin the removal of the word “elect” from all bibles. GENEA has 2 meanings – GENERATION or RACE/related group Jesus said: “This people shall not pass away until these things take place” Not “This generation shall not pass away until these things take place” “O faithless and perverse group (of guys)” Not “O faithless and perverse generation” Jesus also said: “Have God’s faith” Not “Have faith in God” Why the number 3 is important in the measures of meal parable Paul’s teaching of conditional predestination is identified by the removal of “His” from the translation of Romans 8:28 (a word not found in any Greek text!) Paul said: “I do not allow a woman to teach nor to exercise authority of a husband” Not “I do not allow a woman to teach or have authority over a man” ALSO NEW NOTES TO ADD: “BELIEVING IN THE NAME” means believing in what He stands for This means there are Non-Christians born again The Septuagint is identified as the source of quotes made by Jesus and the apostles. The use of words in the Septuagint differs from Greek word dictionaries and with full source quotes made identify the serious mistranslations of important passages in the New Testament due to translators’ use of mistaken source references for word meanings. Armed with this work and the internet the reader can verify that the Septuagint contains this evidence and thus be satisfied the serious mistranslations are genuine.
